• In the green section, meta-data about the experiment is specified, including links to external documents in several formats.
• An experiment consists of measurements taken under one or more conditions.
• The measurements themselves are held in seperate tabular files referenced by the dataset elements (in pink).
• Experimental conditions are described in the two blue sections. Constants are parameters that do not change during the experiment while variables can change. For variables, a measurement must be recorded for each individual condition, in this case for each point in the time series.
